Syntonics Awarded Aerostat Antenna Contract

Syntonics Limited Liability Company, Columbia, Maryland, recently announced the award of a $7 million U.S. Army contract to produce and deliver 30 Fiber Optic Remote Antenna eXtension (FORAX) High Antennas for Radio Communications (HARC) aerostat antenna extension payloads for the U.S. Army. The lightweight system enables tethered aerostats to become a tall antenna tower, increasing line of site and coverage of radio communications.
