Two Firms Awarded Aviator $200 Million Night Vision Contract
L-3 Communications Corporation, Tempe, Ariz., and Exelis Incorporated, Roanoke, Virginia, were awarded a $200 million firm-fixed-price contract between two contractors. The award will provide for the procurement of Enhanced 3rd Generation Aviator’s Night Vision Imaging Systems. Work location will be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 3, 2017. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
