More than 500 Firms to Compete for Work Under Multi-Billion Dollar Navy Contract

The U.S. Navy has selected 556 firms to compete for task orders to provide a wide range of services under the existing SeaPort Enhanced acquisition program. The Navy estimates spending more that $5.3 billion annually on services that include research and development, modeling and simulation, configuration management support and information technology support, among many others. The 556 companies are in addition to the 1,675 companies already competing for work under the SeaPort Enhanced contract.
