On-Base vs. Off-Base by At-Large Chapter
Question: For those that are near a military installation,
do you have better attendance when you hold events on or off
base?
¿Industry will come out if it's off base but to draw
military attendance you most likely need to have the event
on base
¿San Antonio has had similar problems having three different
bases in the area, found a hotel in the center of all three
installations and established a relationship. Find a central
location for your customer base
¿Luncheons work better off-base, but conferences work better
on base
¿If it¿s on base, make sure you collect the appropriate data
for the security forces and dribble them into their offices
so they are not choked with too many requests at the last
minute

memorabilia, doesn't have to be extravagant but something
that they can display in their office to show they're a
