3dB Labs Inc. Secures Contract for S2AS Prototype

The work is expected to last 14 months.

 

U.S. Army officials are entrusting 3dB Labs Inc. to construct the Spectrum Situational Awareness System (S2AS). The program is expected to provide warfighters with up-to-date knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum, according to Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors personnel. S2AS will accomplish this by detecting and recognizing signals of interest, according to Army officials. 

 

 

 

Soldiers are expected to utilize S2AS while on foot and in vehicles, allowing warfighters to use the system to complete a wide variety of mission assignments. 

3dB Labs Inc. received $6,114,381.17 for the 14-month period of performance and work, according to Army officials.
