QTEC Aerospace is Looking at Non-Traditional Data for the Missile Defense Agency
QTEC Aerospace, Huntsville, Alabama is being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum amount of $9,608,653. Under the new contract, the contractor will use PreACT capabilities, integrated with the Government's Modeling, Simulation, Software and Analysis lab and resources, to identify, model and evaluate available non-traditional data, tools and abilities for integration into the Ballistic Missile Defense System. A task order in the amount of $2,217,298 is being issued. The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama. The ordering period and the period of performance is five years from the date of award. The contract was competitively procured via publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website with 26 proposals received. Fiscal year 2019 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funds in the amount of $2,217,298 for the first task order are being obligated on this award.
