Toyon Research is Working on an AFRL Algorithm for On-Orbit Image Processing

Toyon Research Corp., Goleta, California, has been awarded an $8,653,279 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for algorithm development for resilient on-orbit image processing. Work will be performed in Goleta, California, and is expected to be completed November 19, 2026. Fiscal year 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $250,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (FA9453-20-C-0040).
