Rockwell Collins to Support Air Force’s KC-10 Avionics System

Rockwell Collins Incorporated, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $10,653,761 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed fee, cost reimbursable, and time and materials contract. Under the contract, Rockwell Collins will provide avionics sustaining engineering services for the KC-10 avionics system. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 17, 2027. The award is the result of a sole-source acquisition; only one offer was received. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,915,945 are being obligated. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8105-17-D-0006).
