Small Businesses to Get a Boost from Loan Program Support

The Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Capital Access (OCA) has awarded a $20 million blanket purchasing agreement (BPA) prime contract to Highlight Technologies, LLC of Fairfax, Va. to provide staff augmentation and management support across nine loan center locations at SBA headquarters in Washington, D.C. to assist with the Agency’s major small business loan programs. The primary contract services include support for the: origination, servicing, refinancing, and liquidation of Microloan, 7(a), 504 and Disaster loan programs as well as risk management, loan systems management and financial analysis. "The objective of these services is to help American entrepreneurs prosper and to rise again following destruction from acts of nature," according to the SBA.

"We are pleased to support the SBA in this important mission, which helps other small businesses like ourselves to start, grow and maintain successful businesses," said Rebecca Andino, CEO of Highlight Technologies. “We also feel privileged to support the SBA’s Disaster Loan Program, where we are able to help small businesses who have been affected by the recent hurricanes, flooding, and forest fires in the country." Highlight is teamed with Brillient Corporation, an information management, technology and business process management firm, which supported SBA on the predecessor contract. Highlight Technologies is an 8(a), woman-owned business that provides data architecture, software development and cybersecurity support to federal agencies.
