Foreign Naval and Maritime Threat Insight
Recognizing analytical gaps spanning innovative technical system analytics, physics studies and modeling and simulation capabilities is a critical component of successful maritime C4ISR efforts. However, the opportunities to hear and discuss these challenges and potential solutions in effective ways are limited by the need for a classified venue and the availability of intelligence personnel with the necessary level of deep technical expertise.
A symposium that meets the criteria for effective discussions in these areas is imminent, featuring the Office of Naval Intelligence’s Farragut Technical Analysis Center leadership. The speakers for the event range from the center’s commander to senior intelligence analysts and subject matter experts on systems including maritime C4 and networks, electronic warfare, threat maritime radars, threat integrated C4ISR and positioning, navigation and timing.
Detailed briefings during the day will also include a cyber threat assessment, with Farragut’s Naval Cyber Division discussing the scale and scope of cyber threats to the maritime industrial base.
The March 1 Foreign Naval and Maritime Threat Symposium in Chantilly, Virginia is classified TS/SCI-NOFORN, and registrations will be accepted through February 26.
