AFCEAN of the Month, June 2024
Tony Brown has been an outstanding volunteer for the AFCEA Central Florida Chapter. For most of 2021 and 2022, Brown served as the Central Florida Small Business chair, making the two-to-four-hour drive from Florida’s east coast once or twice a month to plan and coordinate the chapter’s Small Business events. In 2023, Brown moved into the role of Space Coast liaison, as the chapter had been closed and absorbed into the Central Florida Chapter. The initial goal was to have three or four events a year to keep an AFCEA presence, with the long-term goal of re-establishing the chapter.
Brown had other plans. He immediately began organizing monthly events. Attendance slowly grew, and within a few months, he had assembled a group of 30 AFCEA members dedicated to restoring the chapter. Brown coordinated the efforts to submit the application, and on April 24, the Space Coast Chapter of AFCEA opened, with Brown serving as president.
In addition to his tireless commitment to AFCEA, Brown is the director of the Products and Services Division of TM3 Solutions Inc.
In recognition of his dedication to the Central Florida and Space Coast Chapters, AFCEA is proud to name Tony Brown as AFCEAN of the Month.
