AFCEAN of the Month, November 2024
Considered the “silent weapon” of the Hampton Roads Chapter, Steve Frazier’s leadership style and unending energy have brought the chapter to new heights. Deputy to the original summit concept, Frazier has been pivotal to bringing the Maritime IT Summit to one of the premier AFCEA Naval IT annual events, and he has helped raise more than $150,000 in scholarship money. He is the force behind the scenes at the annual summits to ensure that media and sessions run smoothly, including the first hybrid event during the pandemic!
Frazier is a previous winner of AFCEA’s Meritorious Service Award and the Medal of Merit Award, and he has served the chapter as executive vice president and the programs vice president.
As a life member, Frazier’s leadership, dedication, distinguished service and countless contributions to the AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter are manifested in the organization’s success; therefore, he is most deserving of AFCEAN of the Month recognition.
