Allvin Assigned Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy J-5

Maj. Gen. David W. Allvin, USAF, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general, and assignment as director for strategy, plans and policy, J-5, Joint Staff; and for appointment as a senior member of the Military Staff Committee of the United Nations, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
