Astrium to Provide Satellite Communications for the German Navy

Astrium Services, a subsidiary of EADS, has been awarded a contract by the F125 ARGE, a joint venture of Thyssen-Krupp and Lurrsen, to install satellite communications terminals in the German navy's four new F125 class frigates. The SCOT 6 terminals can operate in the X-band and can be modified for dual X-Ku band options.
