Boeing Receives More Than $136 Million for P-8A Low Rate Initial Production
The Boeing Company, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a more than $136 million modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract to procure long-lead materials in support of P-8A low-rate initial production II aircraft. The P-8A Poseidon is a long-range anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
