Capgemini to Support Governmental IT Modernization

McLean, Virginia-based Capgemini announced on July 31 that it would be supporting the government’s information technology (IT) modernization efforts. The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded the company a contract under a new multiple-award blanket purchase agreement (BPA), the Centers of Excellence Discovery and Assessment BPA for Cloud Adoption and IT Infrastructure Optimization.

The government-wide Centers of Excellence (CoE) program is a joint effort between GSA and the White House Office of American Innovation, and is designed to accelerate IT modernization by leveraging private sector innovation and government services while centralizing best practices and expertise, the company reported. Capgemini will serve as one of the vendors on the three-year BPA contract, provding discovery and assessment services for cloud adoption and IT infrastructure optimization.

Any federal agency eligible to order from GSA Schedules has access to purchase services on the CoE BPA.
