L-3 Technologies Upgrading Air Force F-16 Operational Flight Program
L3 Technologies Inc., Link Training and Simulation Division, Arlington, Texas, has been awarded a $20,251,157 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract for the F-16 Mission Training Center (MTC) M7.2+ Operational Flight Program (OFP) upgrade. The contract modification provides for incorporation of the F-16 M7.2+ OFP capability into the Air Force's F-16 MTC. It brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $541,560,128. Work will be performed in Arlington, Texas, and is expected to be complete by February 16, 2020. Fiscal year 2017 research and development funds in the amount of $6,153,500; and FY 2018 procurement funds in the amount of $1,497,569 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
