L3 Harris Continue to Support Space Force Combat Mission Systems Support Program

L3Harris Technologies Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $20,226,812 contract modification (P00071) to previously awarded contract FA8819-19-C-0002 for the Meadowlands Engineering Change Proposal 2 (ECP-2) effort under the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) Program. The modification augments the System Block 10.2 (CCS B10.2) and B10.3 (Meadowlands) system capabilities, to include integrating and demonstrating an alternate antenna on a Meadowlands system; develop, integrate, test and field the capabilities; develop and provide Meadowlands Mission Development Kit (MDK) enhancements; upgrade the outside the continental U.S. test bed site; and procure remote operations equipment. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2022. Fiscal 2021 Space Force research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $16,979,818 are being obligated at the time of award. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $284,002,276. The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.
