Navy Exercises Option for DRS Laurel Consoles, Displays and Peripheral Technology Insertion on Future Surface Ships

DRS Laurel Technologies, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $28,896,216 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N0002420C5605 to exercise options for Consoles, Displays, and Peripherals Technical Insertion 16 hardware, to support the Navy’s future surface ship combat systems. Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and is expected to complete July 2022. Fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $18,495,039 (64%); fiscal 2020 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,275,982 (11%); fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,133,651 (10%); fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,827,910 (9%); FMS (Japan) funds in the amount of $547,800 (1%); fiscal 2021 research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $155,459 (1%); fiscal 2021 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $155,459 (1%); FMS Korea funds in the amount of $131,776 (1%); fiscal 2015 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $125,708 (1%); and fiscal 2019 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $47,432 (1%) will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
