Tyonek to Support Cyber Training
Tyonek Global Services Inc., Madison, Alabama, has been awarded a $9,071,595 firm-fixed-price contract for cyber operations formal training support. The contractor will provide course planning, technical writing, course development, instructor training and all other support necessary to support the field training unit. Work will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, and Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2018. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2017 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $5,839,683 are being obligated at the time of the award. The 38th Contracting Squadron, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8773-17-C-0006).
