DARPA Funds Advanced Gyroscope
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is providing about $7 million to Honeywell, Minneapolis, Minnesota, to design, develop, and deliver a demonstration of a gyroscope with a goal capability of absolute reference navigation in a compact, four diameter optically integrated gyro-head.
