FLIR to Provide BRITE Star ISR Systems

FLIR Systems Incorporated, Wilsonville, Oregon, is being awarded a $12,291,223 firm-fixed-price contract for procurement of AN/AAQ-22E BRITE Star Block II Systems and engineering services. This acquisition is for production quantity of 11 AN/AAQ-22E BRITE Star Block II Systems; engineering services; three turret forward-looking infrared units; and two central electronic units that will provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, detection, identification and targeting capability in day/night operations for both manned and unmanned platforms. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity.
