General Atomics to Provide MQ-9 Retrofit Kits

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $12,066,646 undefinitized contract action modification (0140-03) to previously awarded contract FA8620-10-G-3038. Contractor will provide an additional 60 MQ-9 electrical safety improvement program retrofit kits on 60 Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command and Air National Guard aircraft. Work will be performed at Poway, California, and is expected to be complete by September 15, 2017. Fiscal 2015 procurements funds in the amount of $6,029,323 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
