Homefront Help: Operation Gratitude Holiday Drive (And Happy Birthday Marine Corps!)
Operation Gratitude is collecting donations and assembling packages to send to deployed troops this holiday season.
Care-package organization Operation Gratitude is in the midst of one of its two major yearly campaigns. The Holiday Drive will run until December 17, collecting for and assembling packages to ship to war zones overseas. Donations will be accepted through December 5 with assembly days held periodically between now and the end date. A schedule, instructions on how to receive location information and rules for volunteering are available online. Wish-list items also are posted on the site.

Homefront Help also has a Facebook page where visitors can gather and share information. If you know of a program that is helping service personnel, veterans or their families please submit that information to Rita Boland, SIGNAL's news editor.
