L-3 to Provide F-16 A/B Mission Training Center to Taiwan

L-3 Communications Corp., Link Simulation Training Div., Arlington, Texas, has been awarded a $36,300,000 firm-fixed-price contract for an F-16 A/B Block 20 mission training center (MTC). Contractor will provide MTC hardware, spares and initial software development. Work will be performed at Arlington, Texas, and is expected to be complete by November 1, 2016. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Taiwan. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8621-16-C-6378).
