Lockheed to Install Gap Filler Radar

Lockheed Martin Corp., Syracuse, New York, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $41,651,752 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract action to procure, deliver and install Gap Filler Radar. Contractor will provide two long range radars, and three upgrades to existing long range radars, and integrate new and upgraded radar into the overall command, control and communications system. Work will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, and is expected to be complete by April 30, 2018. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Jordan. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8730-17-C-0005).
