ManTech to Support Counterintelligence Program

ManTech Advanced Systems International Inc., Herndon, Virginia, is being awarded a $32,068,507 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (including options) for advisory and assistance services for counterintelligence in support of technical, engineering, advisory and management support. This contract provides support for the Defense Agency Counterintelligence Program missions and functional areas authorized by Department of Defense Directive 5240.02 that detect, identify, assess, exploit, penetrate, degrade and counter or neutralize intelligence collection efforts, other intelligence activities, sabotage, espionage, sedition, subversion, assassination and terrorist activities directed against the Missile Defense Agency, its personnel, information, material, facilities and activities worldwide. Work will be performed at Colorado Springs, Colorado; Dahlgren, Virginia; Huntsville, Alabama; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; and the National Capital Region, which includes Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with an expected completion date of June 2021. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $1,601,000 are being obligated at time of award. This contract was a competitively awarded acquisition with four offers being received. The government selected for award the most advantageous proposal representing the best value to the government. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0147-16-C-0036).
