Northrop Grumman to Provide GPS Power Amplifier

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Aerospace Systems, Redondo Beach, California, has been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum ordering dollar amount of $7 million for L-Band Radio Frequency Power Amplifier for the Global Positioning System (GPS) Spacecraft Navigation Payload. The objective of this program is to demonstrate the direct digital synthesis of GPS signals concept by design, fabrication, assembly, test and demonstration of a Digital Beam Forming Element, Engineering Design Unit and the key enabling technology of the Digital Phased Array GPS payload architecture. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Det. 8, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (FA9453-14-D-0220).
