Northrop Receives LAIRCM Contract Modification

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Illinois, has been awarded an $87,151,644 modification (P00230) to previously awarded contract FA8625-12-C-6598 for the Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures (LAIRCM) calendar year 2016 base hardware buy and needed LAIRCM support. Work will be performed at Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2018. The majority of the funding is Air Force fiscal 2014, 2015 and 2016 procurement; operation and maintenance; and research, development test and evaluation, with National Guard and Overseas Contingency Operations funds completing the amount of $87,151,644 being obligated at time of award. Five percent of the modification is foreign military sales to Australia. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
