Raytheon Awarded F/A-18 FLIR Repair Funds

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $64,066,288 for ceiling priced delivery order 7000 against previously issued basic ordering agreement N00383-15-G-005D for the repair of 25 weapon repairable assemblies and 35 shop replaceable assemblies of the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) system used in the support of the F/A-18 aircraft. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas (77.2 percent); Jacksonville, Florida (19.9 percent); and El Segundo, California (2.9 percent); and work is expected to be completed by December 2016. Fiscal 2015 Navy working capital funds in the amount of $48,049,716 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source requirement in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) with one offer received in response to the solicitation. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity.
