Alice Hong directs the Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate’s National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) in New York City. NUSTL is congressionally authorized to test and evaluate tools, technologies and equipment that first responders deploy in support of homeland security.

Dr. Jennifer A. Miller is the technical director, comptroller for the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, Washington, DC. She is a certified project management professional, certified government financial manager, and a certified defense financial manager with both acquisition and health care specialties. She is also a member of the Society of Defense Financial Management’s Washington Chapter, the Association of Government Accountants’ Northern Virginia Chapter and AFCEA International.

As the Department of War chief information officer (CIO), Kirsten Davies leads information technology and cybersecurity strategy, budget and execution. She also ensures the resilience and operational effectiveness of the digital infrastructure that underpins warfighting, readiness and strategic deterrence and is authorized to modernize legacy environments and strengthen cyber resilience against a contested threat landscape. Among other duties, she oversees C4 systems, position, navigation and timing, and electromagnetic spectrum management.

Jordan Dunseth, solutions architect with Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), has a background in industrial engineering and is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Master’s in Engineering Management program. His focus is on software for manufacturing, operational sustainment and availability, Defense Department acquisition, and all things product life-cycle management for the aerospace and defense community.
