Senate Confirms Army Cyber Command Commander
Army Maj. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank will be promoted to lieutenant general and will lead Army Cyber Command.
                          
									
Army Maj. Gen. Christopher L. Eubank was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on October 30 for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Cyber Command, Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Eubank most recently served as chief of staff, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
Eubank began his Army career in 1991 as an armor officer where he served as a platoon leader in the 1st Infantry Division (Mechanized), Fort Riley, Kansas. In 1993, he branch transferred to the Signal Corps and was assigned to the 121st Signal Battalion, where he served as a Signal platoon leader. He has also commanded 7th Signal Command and U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
