Two Companies Receive Situational Awareness Funds
Infoscitex Corp., Littleton, Massachusetts (FA8650-14-D-6500 P00008) and Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Boulder, Colorado (FA8650-14-D-6501 P00006), have each been awarded a modification for a $75 million shared ceiling increase to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite/quantity contract for the Human Interface Research and Technology program. Contractors will provide additional research regarding the discovery, development and delivery of revolutionary cognitive engineering, team decision making, human perception, performance, and cognitive technologies to deliver persistent situation awareness and improved warfighter decision making for synchronized Air Force operations in air, space and cyberspace. Work will be performed at Dayton, Ohio, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by May 28, 2020. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is the contracting activity.
