U.S. Air Forces Modifies BACN Contract

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. - Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Herndon, Virginia, has been awarded a $55,275,786 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursement modification (P00048) to previously awarded contract FA8726-13-C-0001. Contractor will perform comprehensive tasks and provide personnel, facilities, aircraft subsystems and support equipment for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node E-11A platform. Work will be performed at San Diego, California; and international locations, and is expected to be complete by January 23, 2018. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance overseas contingency funds in the amount of $55,275,786 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8726-13-C-0001).
