I am the mother of Cpt Robert Yllescas. Dena told me that you were now a Brigadier General at Fort Riley. I just wanted to say congratulations and thank-you for being such a positive force in my son's life. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him so much. I am blessed to be able to get to see his daughters and tell them stories about him when he was little. I am very busy with the Gold Star Mother's and the Honor and Remember org. along with my volunteer work at the VA nursing home. I still live on the farm and teach. I just wanted to say hello and thank you for serving our country.
