Prism Maritime, LLC is a Small Business founded in 2006 by a group of Navy Veterans and contractors. We provide the Navy shore-based and shipboard modernization & installation services, engineering & technical services, and integrated logistics support. Prism facilities are located in Chesapeake Virginia and San Diego & Ventura California. Our professionals support numerous systems including Combat & Weapon, C5ISR, Electronic Warfare, Electro-Optic, Aircraft Launch & Recovery, HM&E, Shipboard Navigation, Integrated Bridge Controls, and Chem-Bio Detection & Neutralization Systems.

Products/Services:
Modernization & Installation Services Prism maintains a NAVSEA 04XQ-approved Quality Management System (QMS) and comprehensive in-process control procedures to guide our shipboard activities. We utilize NAVSEA-approved welding procedures and employee NDT Level II & III Certified Inspectors. As a NAVSEA-approved Alteration Installation Team (AIT), Prism employs experienced shipboard electricians, HVAC specialists, fiber-optic and multi-pin connector experts, riggers, structural mechanics, and welders. We specialize in large, complex, multi-system installations on all shipboard platforms and shore sites, as well as smaller scale system upgrades and repairs. Engineering & Technical Services Our engineers and CAD operators perform ship checks and develop Ship Installation Drawings, Installation Control Drawings, and design prototypes for numerous Navy customers. Our engineers specialize in the integration of legacy and modern systems. In support of NSWC Carderock, Prism performed ship checks and developed SID packages in support of the prototype design and deployment of the Situational Awareness Bridge Display System (SABDS) on all Navy CVNs. We possess specialized alignment equipment and perform foundation and combat system alignments as well as establishing and verifying ship's reference planes. Integrated Logistics Support We procure materials and inventory, kit, pack, securely store, and transport Installation Activity Furnished and Government Furnished Property at two facilities cleared up to Secret. Our logisticians perform parts obsolescence research, spares provisioning, support equipment requirement analysis, and develop & maintain rotatable material pools. We research Manpower, Personnel, & Training requirements, provide Program Management Support, and develop new equipment maintenance plans. We also validate & verify technical manuals and maintain technical data within the iNAVSEA cloud-based SharePoint portal.
