Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, AFCEA International
Jason Henham joined AFCEA International as the chief financial officer in September 2023. In this role, he oversees the financial operations of AFCEA International, the AFCEA Educational Foundation and the National Intelligence University Foundation. Prior to joining AFCEA, Mr. Henham consulted to the nonprofit sector in interim executive roles with large, international organizations and on-mission critical strategy, risk management and corporate governance projects.
Mr. Henham started his international career in public accounting and has worked with multinational accounting firms in both his native Australia and in the United States, and in a range of sectors, including government, health and education. He has held a number of director, board chair and board treasurer roles with nonprofit organizations in the education, community services and philanthropy sectors. He has appeared in a range of print and online publications, including The New York Times, Human Resource Executive Online, the Intuit Small Business Blog and In The Black, the magazine for Australian CPAs.
Mr. Henham holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Charles Sturt University in Australia, with a major in accounting and minor in psychology. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
