Air Force Awards Contract to Northrop Grumman for VAATE Program

The U.S. Air Force is awarding an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to Northrop Grumman for a maximum of $30 million. This contract will fund the Versatile Affordable Advanced Turbine Engines (VAATE) Program, a joint U.S. Defense Department/NASA/U.S. Department of Energy/industry effort.
