Air Force Contracts Research

The MITRE Corporation, Bedford, Massachusetts, was awarded a $498,715,393 cost reimbursement option contract for support to the Air Force from MITRE as the administrator of the National Security Engineering Center Federally Funded Research and Development Center. Work will be performed at Bedford, Massachusetts; McLean, Virginia; and various locations throughout the continental United States and outside the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2024. This contract was a sole-source acquisition. Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $1,612,340 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8702-23-C-0002).
