Applied Physical Sciences to Develop Submarine Detection Technology
Applied Physical Sciences Corporation, Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $13,523,207 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development of an anti-submarine warfare surveillance capability that operates at extreme ocean depths to detect submarines. The exercising of this 13-month option brings the cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $16,368,270. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
