Army Taps BAE for Automated Base Entry Systems

BAE Systems has been awarded a U.S. Army contract valued at up to $95 million to provide controlled access technology to Army bases and other installations. Under the contract, BAE will install and maintain automated security systems that use hardware and software to verify statistics on individuals and then match that information to data on registered vehicles.
