Boeing to Deliver Prototype E-4B Low-Frequency Transmit System
Boeing Aerospace Operations has been awarded a modification to a previously awarded contract for design and development of an E-4B low-frequency transmit system.
Boeing Aerospace Operations, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been awarded a $67,338,521 modification (P00211) to previously awarded contract FA8106-07-C-0001 for design and development of an E-4B low-frequency transmit system. The total cumulative face value of the contract, including the referenced modification, is $433,292,284. Contractor will provide engineering services to finalize development and deliver a prototype aircraft kit. Work will be performed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2016. Fiscal year 2014 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $819,098 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity.
