Boeing to Develop Airborne Command Post Transmit System

Boeing Aerospace Operations, Oklahoma City, has been awarded a $9,774,956 modification (P00204) to previously awarded contract FA8106-07-C-0001 for design and development of an E-4B low frequency transmit system through system requirements review. Contractor will provide engineering services to finalize defined and derived system requirements. Work will be performed in Oklahoma City and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2015. Fiscal 2014 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4,724,124 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity.
