Boeing to Provide Radio Frequency Blanking Unit for Aircraft
The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded $13,514,219 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0001 against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00019-16-G-0001) for supplies and services for the design, development and testing efforts of the Radio Frequency Blanking Unit, which is a form, fit, function replacement for the Enhanced Interference Blanking Unit, in support of the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (62 percent); and Melbourne, Florida (38 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2018. Fiscal 2014 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $13,514,219 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
