Boeing Receives Contract to Upgrade B-1 Bomber Avionics Software

The U.S. Air Force has awarded the Boeing Company an $84 million follow-on contract for additional upgrades to the B-1 bomber fleet's avionics software. The contract continues a software sustainment program that has continuously improved the aircraft's operational capabilities since it entered service in 1989.
