Boeing to Support ICBM Guidance Subsystem

The Boeing Company, Directed Energy & Strategic Systems Division, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, has been awarded a $51,164,866 cost-plus-award-fee contract for intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) guidance subsystem support. The contractor will provide sustaining engineering support and program management support services for the ICBM guidance subsystem. The primary focus will be to ensure any modifications or changes to the guidance system will maintain and/or improve system-level performance. Work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Heath, Ohio; and Huntington Beach, California, and is expected to be complete by February 1, 2023. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with two offers received. Fiscal year 2015 operations and maintenance and research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $13,223,503 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center, Hill Air Force Base, is the contracting activity (FA8214-15-C-0001).
