Carahsoft to Support DCGS Integration Backbone
Carahsoft Technology Corp., Reston, Virginia (H92222-16-D-0035), is being awarded a single $42,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide design, development, integration testing and operational support for a Distributed Common Ground/Surface System (DCGS) Integration Backbone (DIB) Metadata Catalog (MDC) and data integration in the extensible markup language (XML) in support of U.S. Special Operations Command, Special Operation Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. The work will be performed in Tampa, Florida. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,378,241 are being obligated at time of award. Funding for this contract will be applied to individual delivery orders. The type of funds that will be used are operation and maintenance funds; procurement funds; or research, development and testing funds, whichever is the most appropriate for the delivery order. A small business set-aside solicitation was posted on Federal Business Opportunities on May 5, 2016, under solicitation number H92222-16-R-0020. Three proposals were received. The U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida, is the contracting activity.
