The Air Force is Adding a Targeting Center to Joint Base Langley-Eustis

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., Baltimore, Maryland, was awarded a $46,375,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the Air Force Targeting Center facility at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Bids were solicited via the internet with eight received. Work will be performed in Hampton, Virginia, with an estimated completion date of May 21, 2023. Fiscal 2017 and 2021 military construction, Air Force funds in the amount of $46,375,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (W91236-21-C-2005).
