ARCTEC Continues to Maintain Remote Radar Sites in Alaska
ARCTEC Alaska JV, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska, has been awarded a $37,928,691 modification (P00022) to contract FA5215-14-C-7007 for operations and maintenance of Alaska remote radar sites. The modification provides for the exercise of the third option year, September 29, 2018, to September 28, 2019. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $380,273,648. Work will be performed at the Alaska Radar System sites in Alaska at Barrow, Barter Island, Cold Bay, Cape Lisburne, Cape Newenham, Cape Romanzof, Fort Yukon, Indian Mountain, King Salmon, Kotzebue, Murphy Dome, Oliktok, Sparrevohn, Tatalina, Tin City, Valdez, Middleton Island, Saint Paul Island, the Regional Air Operations Center and the Maintenance Control and Communications Center. Fiscal year 2018 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $11,363,607 are being obligated at the time of award. The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, is the contracting activity.
