Daylight Defense Procuring Infrared Countermeasures for the Navy

Daylight Defense LLC, San Diego, California, is awarded $16,427,380 for modification (P00010) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-16-C-0036) to procure 30 Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasure Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation and 28 fiber optic cable assemblies in support of the Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems program office. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed in December 2019. Fiscal year 2017 and 2018 aircraft procurement (Navy); and FY 2018 procurement (defense-wide) funds in the amount of $16,427,380 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
